Application:
Applications
(Via E-mail & Forums) should include information about your experience
modding. Samples of your work, and whatever other information you
see fit.
Positions
available:
Texture
Artists:
-Must have experience with a 2d art program (Photoshop, Paintshop
Pro etc.)
-Must be able to create realistic tiling map textures, In the power
of 2
-Skill with normal/bump mapping is not required, but very much desired.
Skinners:
-Must have experience with a 2d art program (Photoshop, Paintshop
Pro etc.)
-Must be able to create detailed, Realistic textures for at least
one of the following:
Weapons
Vehicles
Characters
Static Meshes
-Experience with UVW mapping is not required, but is a major plus.
Mappers:
-Must have experience with VALVe's Hammer editor
-Must be able to create believable maps, based in real world locations
-Must be able to make areas such as Trenches, Large fields, and Destroyed
Towns.
-It is preferred that (With the help of coders) you can create destroyable
objects, and objectives (Capture points and the like).
Animator:
-Must be able to create and export animations for Half-Life²,
using a major 3d package (3dsmax, Maya, XSI)
-Must be able to rig and physique 3d models with bones
-Must be able to work closely with modelers and historians to create
realistic and accurate animations.
Sound
Artist:
-Requires the ability to create realistic and historically accurate,
high-quality sounds for Weapons, Ambience, and various others.
-Must be able to create sounds compatible with Half-Life²
-It is preferred that sound artists can import sounds into the Source
engine.
We
are also accepting other positions that are not listed here.

we expect:
Here at the Storm of Steel, we expect team
members to be hard-working and able to meet deadlines, and work well
with other team members to accomplish goals. We also expect you to
spend at very least a few hours a a week, and keep us updated on your
work once a week.
